I provide a three year GENETIC warranty with my puppies. The terms of this warranty and disclaimers are outlined at the bottom of the vaccination record I provide when you pick up your puppy. At the time you pick up your puppy both parties will sign this document and agree to the terms. Failure to agree to the terms frees me from any and all obligation to the health and well-being of your puppy after it leaves me. In order to keep my prices low, I must protect myself from any legal action, by using this document, yet still protect the integrity of my business, the health of my puppies and confidence of my buyers.The below document means that I will replace your puppy with one of comparable value (breed, gender, color) when I have one available. I WILL NOT reimburse your veterinary fees for ANY reason whatsoever as it is not my determination how far you take treatment and therefore I can not be responsible for your choices.

Warranty Agreement: Upon purchasing a puppy the buyer must understand that puppies bring a certain responsibility. You will need to dedicate time and money to having a healthy, happy and well-disciplined dog. This is not magic, you must put in the effort. Puppies chew on things they shouldn’t and eat things they shouldn’t; despite my, or your, best efforts. As a result they get things like worms, coccidia and giardia. These things are easily treated and usually present no problem if treated promptly. Puppies will get parvovirus and a variety of other unpleasant and easily preventable diseases if they are not vaccinated, or vaccinated according to an appropriate booster schedule. One shot DOES NOT do it. (This is the buyer’s responsibility. I maintain them as long as they are in my care.) I provide the buyer with documentation showing what I have done to prevent and or treat these problems. If this documentation is not satisfactory do not sign this warranty! Terminate or put on hold this agreement until satisfaction is met because upon signing this warranty you agree that we have satisfactorily raised your puppy to a healthy take home age and you agree to all terms.
THIS WARRANTY IS NON-TRANSFERABLE TO OTHER OWNERS: We will guarantee NO DEATH for 10 days from the day it leaves us. If death occurs the puppy will be replaced with one of the same gender and/or color when one is available; not refunded. If necessary, we will pay for a necropsy to be performed at the University of Missouri but no other fees. We must have notification of any problem within 12 hours. We DO NOT reimburse for any medications or for any veterinary fees for ANY reason. We do not guarantee against environmental or stress related illnesses beyond the seller’s control; including but not limited to pneumonia, hypoglycemia, kennel cough or allergies. If, within 36 months of the date of purchase, your puppy is diagnosed with a debilitating HEREDITARY DEFECT, that, in a veterinarian's opinion, prevents your puppy from serving you as a companion animal, we will replace or refund the ORIGINAL price of the puppy. Refund option is NOT INCLUDING sales tax amount, amount of deposit, shipping costs, or any other expenses. If the replacement option is chosen then a comparable (breed/sex/color) replacement puppy will be provided when we have one available. The following MUST occur for the replacement or refund option: Claims must be accompanied by a veterinarian's statement with a full explanation of the problem, lab tests acquired, medications given, etc and be received by me within 14 days of the first vet visit. Then the dog must be returned to me at your expense for re-evaluation by a veterinarian of my choice at my expense. If a difference of opinion occurs then we will adhere to the advice and/or diagnosis of OUR veterinarian. If it is necessary to put the dog down at that time then we will have it humanly euthanized at our expense. WE WILL NOT GUARENTEE AGAINST DEFECTS CAUSED BY HUMAN ERROR, VACCINE EFFICACY, ADDISONS DIESEASE (unable to screen for this), or IMPROPER DIET/EXERCISE. If at any time you are unable to keep your pet then it must be returned to us. Responsibility of shipping costs in the event a dog needs to be returned will be negotiated at time of return. It is possible seller will assume some of the cost for this. There will NO REFUND in the event that your pet needs to be returned to us.
