Missy's Puppies

Missy is due to have a litter of standard F1 Aussiedoodles from Amos Moses on December 31st, 2016.

Temperment: Missy is sweet, loving, and calm but protective. She was too docile to herd sheep, so less drive than many Aussies but anyone considering a puppy from this litter should still take into consideration the purpose of an Australian Shepherd and how much of those type of characteristics you will be able to keep channeled in constructive directions. Amos Moses is a cuddle bug of epic porportions. He was probably the best puppy I have ever trained. He is a little less of a gentlemen to all dogs since he hit puberty (spay/neuter your pets folks) but still incredibly sweet to any human who will give him any sort of attention. The first litter of Aussiedoodles I had from Amos (w/ Vesta) seemed to have a lot of the Aussie tendency's mellowed by Amos's sweet, loving demenor.

Size: Missy is generally a 40 lb dog at maintence weight. She is very small, compact, and low to the ground. Amos Moses is 65 lbs of all legs. Missy's previous litters with Apollo matured to 40-45 lbs most commonly, but Apollo was only 55 lbs, and also very compact with little potential for height. Size range on the litter can vary widely, as Aussie litters are already prone to doing. I think this litter has potential to produce puppies both larger and smaller than either of the parents with the majority of puppies maturing to around 50-55 lbs. The puppies that are at the drastic ends of the spectrum, 35-75 lbs,  should be identifiable through bone structure evaluation pre-weaning.

Color: All Aussie colorations are possible as well as blue eyes, but blue eyes are not likely. Colors may include any of the combinations pictured in the chart below.

Black Bi's and Tri's would be more likely than self black or black & tan.

Blue merle Bi and Tri's more likely but self blue merle is also common. Blue eyes are more likely in merles.

Red Bi's and Tri's would be more likely than self red or red & tan. **Often referred to as brown or chocolate, but I refer to my Aussiedoodles in terms of Australian Shepherd breed colors only. I have yet to see one that did not conform
